Solution Focused Therapy
Solution Focused Therapy is a brief therapeutic intervention that favours building solutions to current problems to problem-solving. It requires great participation and commitment from the client to look at the future, rather than the past - although a skilled therapist will be able to guide the client through the past, but only as an opportunity to build a solution for the future.
Marius Paul has accrued valuable experience using this approach successfully with people wanting to deal with addictions, recovering from long hospital admissions, and specific life changes.
Given the focused nature of this approach, treatment is usually limited to max 6 sessions.
