There are times in life when we go through difficult times and struggle with anxiety, depression or feel overwhelmed and lost in response to life events. Most people go through difficult times and often feeling that nobody understands. Family can be helpful but are usually too emotionally involved to help us gain clarity about what is troubling us. Whether it is something from the past or is something more recent, counselling helps to make sense of life and where “stuckness” exists, it illuminates choice.

I am a warm, supportive and compassionate counsellor trained in the Relational-Integrative method which means that I draw on a range of psychotherapeutic methods tailoring my approach to suit your needs.  I pay particularly close attention to the relationship between us. I also use creative interventions including mindfulness, body-mind connection and intergenerational exploration when appropriate. I provide a calm, welcoming place away from the pressures of your everyday life giving you the opportunity to accept and come to terms with life events and the space to plan your future.

I have particular skills working and supporting adolescence. I also have a good deal of experience working with those on the autism spectrum as well as people with learning difficulties and ADHD.
